About The Position

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) at ViaQuest Residential Services provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. The company provides complete training for this position, so no prior experience is required. This role offers an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the individuals served.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Personal, reliable vehicle that can be used to transport individuals served.
• Valid driver's license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
• Ability to push, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb, balance, kneel, and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities to foster increased independence, choice, and empowerment while ensuring their health and safety needs are met.
• Supervising, teaching, and assisting individuals in all aspects of their lives.
• Completing household tasks, including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Providing personal care assistance.
