DSP FT - Day Program - Lawn & Cleaning Crew
About The Position
HIT, Inc. is seeking compassionate and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Day Program's team. DSPs provide hands-on support to individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve personal goals through active treatment and meaningful daily activities. In the Day Program, DSPs assist individuals in engaging with their communities through employment, volunteer opportunities, social interaction, daily living skills, and recreational activities. This specific role involves overseeing lawn service and production cleaning crews, combining direct care with leadership responsibilities. The position requires coordinating daily work activities, providing on-the-job training and guidance, ensuring quality and productivity, and promoting a safe and positive work environment. The ideal candidate is organized, responsible, a strong communicator, and enjoys helping individuals develop valuable vocational and employment skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications: medication technician, CPR and First Aid certification, Therapeutic Response Certification.
- Valid ND Driver's License as necessary for the position.
