About The Position

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is vital in assisting individuals with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and social integration within the community. This role involves close coordination under the guidance of the Program Director and adherence to the individual's specific Service Plan. As a DSP, you’ll be a crucial part of our mission, helping individuals with daily living activities, personal care, and community integration. Your positive energy and caring nature will brighten the lives of those you support. Keeping Things Running Smoothly: Assist with household tasks, ensuring a clean, safe, and happy home environment. Documenting the Journey: Accurately record daily activities and observations, helping to create a complete picture of each individual’s progress.

Requirements

A high school diploma or GED
Reliable transportation
A valid driver’s license
Mandatory training and certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Behavior Intervention.
Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, current DMV Driving Record, and appropriate automobile liability insurance.
Successful completion of Criminal History and Central Registry background investigations.

Nice To Haves

One to six months of experience working with persons with disabilities is preferred.
