About The Position
We are currently seeking a team member to fill our Part-Time Direct Support Professional position in our Day Support Program. This role involves assisting people with disabilities to be independent in their activities of daily living, attending staff meetings, and participating in community activities. The position requires a positive attitude, self-direction, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members. Training will be provided for therapeutic intervention for possible behaviors.
Requirements
- Must be able to drive (18 years old & valid driver's license)
- Motivated to coach
- Dependable
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to effectively communicate with team members
- Have a positive attitude
- Self-directed
- Comfortable assisting with personal care needs
- Comfortable with possible behaviors
