About The Position

We are currently seeking a team member to fill our Part-Time Direct Support Professional position in our Day Support Program. This role involves assisting people with disabilities to be independent in their activities of daily living. The position requires the ability to stand for long periods, attend staff meetings, communicate effectively with team members, and maintain a positive, self-directed attitude. The hours for this part-time role are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. The starting wage is $18.00/hour or more, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Be able to drive (18 years old & valid driver's license)
• Motivated to coach
• Be dependable
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Have a positive attitude and be self-directed

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable assisting with personal care needs
• Comfortable with possible behaviors (therapeutic intervention training provided)
