About The Position

ETTA is a unique and respected non-profit organization that has been making a positive difference in the lives of adults with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1993. This position is for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join an activities-based Adult Day Program that includes education, socialization, and community volunteer activities daily. Members of ETTA's Day Program Team assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live more independent and enriching lives, inspiring and guiding them to realize possibilities, expand horizons, and achieve goals related to independence, inclusion, and growth.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be a licensed driver for a minimum of three years
Must have an insured vehicle with your name listed as an authorized driver
Must be willing to drive with a client in your vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)
Must be willing to perform "personal hygiene" tasks (including toileting assistance, if occasionally needed)
Must be available from 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
Must be willing to commute to the Pico-Robertson Area (and surrounding communities)
Must be willing to drive a COMPANY VAN on the job with multiple clients
Live Scan (DOJ / FBI) background check required

Responsibilities
