The role focuses on aiding with socialization, behavioral development, personal care, housekeeping, recreational activities, transportation, community orientation, shopping, financial management, citizenship, and other activities of daily living. The trainer is responsible for accurately documenting progress, maintaining confidentiality, and managing individuals' assets. They will also maintain professional relationships with individuals, families, and guardians, and report any instances of alleged abuse or neglect. Additionally, the role may involve accompanying individuals to medical appointments, administering medications if assigned, monitoring health, and preparing meals according to dietary needs.
