About The Position

The Direct Support Coordinator (Residential Stay) role at RSI involves leading, planning, and coordinating daily activities for both staff and residents in a residential setting. This position provides hands-on support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), fostering their independence and personal growth. A key responsibility includes serving as the overnight safety lead, typically 3-4 nights a week, to ensure resident well-being and stability during sleep shifts. The role also requires collaboration with team members to cultivate a welcoming and supportive home environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Required
Experience supporting individuals with IDD or similar caregiving role
Strong communication and team leadership skills
Calm, Compassionate, and adaptable under pressure

Nice To Haves

Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
