About The Position

MSC Cruises, the world's third-largest and fastest-growing cruise brand, is expanding its Marketing team in the U.S. Reporting to the Direct Marketing Manager, the Direct Marketing Specialist will play a key role in the planning, execution, and optimization of our B2C email and SMS marketing programs. This role is responsible for managing campaigns deployment and reporting, ensuring all communications are executed accurately, on time, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a hybrid position requiring 4 days per week in the office, in Miami.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field of study required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in email marketing, CRM, digital marketing, or lifecycle marketing.
  • Experience executing B2C email and/or SMS marketing campaigns from planning through deployment.
  • Strong project management, multitasking capability, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and learn quickly.
  • Ability to reliably manage multiple assignments and projects, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • US Passport or US Permanent Resident

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Adobe, Marketo, Attentive, Asana Management, or Google Analytics is a plus.
  • Cruise or travel industry experience preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end execution of email and SMS marketing campaigns, from creative mockups through deployment and post-campaign analysis.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Creative, Web, Analytics, Revenue Management, and CRM teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns that support business goals.
  • Coordinate campaign timelines and manage the email and SMS deployment calendar to ensure timely execution of all initiatives.
  • Support audience segmentation strategies by partnering with the Analytics team to develop targeted customer lists.
  • Lead campaign QA by coordinating proofing, testing, and approvals prior to deployment, ensuring a high standard of accuracy and quality.
  • Co-develop, execute, and analyze A/B tests to optimize subject lines, creative, messaging, offers, audience segmentation, and overall campaign performance.
  • Monitor campaign performance using email, SMS, and web analytics platforms, identifying trends and opportunities for optimization.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and present actionable insights and recommendations to improve future campaigns.
  • Monitor competitor and cross-industry email and SMS marketing trends, bringing forward innovative ideas and best practices.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve campaign performance, customer engagement, and operational efficiencies.
  • Support additional CRM and direct marketing initiatives as needed.
