Prepares returned items for resale, makes final decisions on merchandise quality, researches packing, auto bagging, returning and folding errors, cross-trains into other functions within the DC. Adheres to all J.Jill safety standards and continually strives for improved customer service.

Requirements

  • Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detail instructions.
  • Must have good listening, verbal, and written communication.
  • Demonstrate strong technical skills performing Direct functions.
  • Minimum of one year of J.Jill Returns experience.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to be flexible and multi-task.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with good organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collects and reviews returns left by the returns associates as to the proper disposition of an item.
  • Determines if items are 2nd quality and verifies that this is the correct disposition.
  • Reviews errors committed in packing, returns, auto bagger, and folding to determine who committed the error as well as passes out and explains the error to the associate.
  • Maintains proper records and reports for tracking purposes.
  • Analyzes older items that cannot be found so that the customer can be given the proper credit.
  • Researches items through old catalogs and using the WMS.
  • Performs other functions within other departments in the DC, including but not limited to, Retail, QI/QCS, Freight, Receiving, Shipping, as well as other Direct Operation functions.
