This position provides direct care coverage and support for individuals served, responding to individual issues during assigned shifts. The role involves working with individuals to promote growth in various quality of life areas, assisting them in working on identified areas in their Individual Support Plans, and supporting them in areas such as problem-solving, personal care, medical care, socialization, leisure activities, interpersonal skills, household management, money management, activities of daily living, and asserting their human and civil rights. The position also assists in the development and implementation of behavior support plans, requires knowledge of emergency procedures, and involves completing necessary documentation. Additionally, the role may involve dispensing medications, transporting individuals to appointments and community events, maintaining Triangle property, and attending training and staff meetings.
