About The Position
Alternative Services, Inc. (ASI) is seeking compassionate and genuine individuals to join their team as Direct Care Workers/Direct Support Professionals. This full-time, second shift (2-10 pm) position is located in Rochester Hills, MI, and involves supporting adults with disabilities in a small group home setting. ASI has been a leader in the industry for over 47 years, dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities live meaningful lives. The role focuses on building positive relationships and providing 24/7 care.
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Possess a valid Michigan Driver's license.
- Possess excellent moral character.

Responsibilities
- Assisting individuals with disabilities in a variety of daily living activities.
- Providing personal care, including hygiene, basic health, and administering medication.
- Performing household tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and shopping.
- Serving as an advocate and role model in all interactions with persons served.
- Supporting individuals in participating in leisure activities, both at home and in the community.
- Respecting the rights, dignity, property, and privacy of persons served.
