About The Position
Renaissance House Inc. is seeking compassionate Direct Care Workers (DCWs) to join their team at their Ypsilanti location. The mission of Renaissance House is to provide quality services for quality of life, helping individuals overcome life's challenges by offering supported housing and essential services to marginalized adult populations. This location is within walking distance to Eastern Michigan Campus.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (must be at least 18 years of age).
- Valid Driver’s License or State ID.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Must be able to work weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide care and support to individuals with mental illness in a large group home setting (15 Bed).
- Assist with meal preparation, serving, and dining support.
- Administer medications as prescribed.
- Engage residents in fun activities to promote socialization and well-being.
