About The Position
At Renaissance House Inc., our mission is simple: Quality Services for Quality of Life. We are committed to helping individuals overcome life’s challenges by offering supported housing and essential services to marginalized adult populations. We are currently seeking compassionate Direct Care Workers (DCWs) to join our team at our Ypsilanti location. This location is within walking distance to Eastern Michigan Campus.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (must be at least 18 years of age).
- Valid Driver’s License or State ID.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide care and support to individuals with mental illness in a large group home setting (15 Bed).
- Assist with meal preparation, serving, and dining support.
- Administer medications as prescribed.
- Engage residents in fun activities to promote socialization and well-being.
