About The Position

365 Health Services is seeking a Direct Care Worker (DCW) to provide physical care and emotional support to clients who may be unable to care for themselves due to illness, injury, surgery, or disability. The ideal candidate treats clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect, and remains empathetic while encouraging clients.

The role includes assisting clients with household and personal needs, such as light housekeeping, errands, transportation, appointments, medications, meal preparation, food purchases, and general living needs. Personal care may include toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming. The DCW may also provide financial assistance, such as balancing checkbooks, going to the bank, or helping clients pay bills. The role includes offering companionship and conversation, and stimulating, encouraging, and assisting clients.

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred.
• Must be able to complete a criminal background report.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for sometimes long periods.

Responsibilities
