About The Position
Flagstar is seeking compassionate Direct Care Workers (DCWs) to work within community group homes. In this role, you will provide support with daily living tasks and personal care, ensuring patients receive essential social and emotional support. You will also be responsible for relaying vital information about patient condition to the House Manager. This position offers the opportunity to make a difference in your community while enjoying flexible scheduling and competitive pay.
Requirements
- CPR/First Aid Certification from an In-Person Course
- Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a healthcare setting
- Ability to Communicate Effectively
- Reliable Transportation to worksite location
Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care services regarding hygiene, grooming, feeding, supervision of daily activities and transporting to medical appointments/community events.
- Independently manage between 1 and 6 group home residents per shift.
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment.
- Daily reporting of resident activity.
