About The Position

As a member of their personal care and companionship team, you will perform meaningful work and be valued, respected, and heard. While you support clients one-on-one with activities of daily living, BAYADA will support you with training, flexibility, and a team dedicated to creating a great employee experience. They are currently recruiting for Home Health Aides (HHA), Direct Care Workers (DCW), Personal Care Aides (PCA), and Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) to serve patients in Lancaster county within BAYADA’s ACSP Division.

Nice To Haves

• Previous home health care or patient care experience is welcomed, but not required. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Provide household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Assist with range of motion/exercises.
• Assist with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices).
• Provide medication reminders.
