About The Position

Griswold Home Care for NEPA is seeking experienced caregivers and home health aides who are confident, compassionate, and committed to handling more complex and demanding client situations. This role is ideal for individuals who have experience caring for individuals with dementia, behavioral challenges, or advanced mobility needs. The company offers a $250 sign-on bonus for those who complete onboarding between August 1-31.

Requirements

• 6+ months of professional caregiving experience (hoyer lift experience)
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance (preferred) - or - reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Two professional references
• Authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

• Experience with dementia or difficult client behaviors preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Assist clients with behavioral or cognitive challenges, including dementia
• Deliver compassionate companionship and engagement
• Perform light housekeeping and ensure a safe, clean environment
• Act decisively and calmly during unexpected events or emergencies
