About The Position

The Direct Care Staff are responsible for maintaining a safe, supportive environment which ensures the quality living of our clients. This role involves assisting, monitoring, and teaching individuals with preparation of daytime activities and encouraging good personal hygiene and behavior appropriate in their home or apartment. These activities may include grocery shopping, menu planning, meal preparation, and clean up. The role also involves encouraging, motivating, and supporting clients with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral challenges, and helping to plan, create, and organize tasks and schedules that promote goal achievement for clients. Consistent documentation of progress through case notes is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

Able to pass a background check
Driver's License Required

Experience working with individuals with behaviors IS A PLUS!
Can problem solve and adapt to different client needs.
Are a strong communicator and dependable.
Are comfortable working independently in one-on-one settings

Responsibilities
