About The Position
Direct Care Professionals provide assistance with daily activities and ensure a structured routine that includes individual community outings, meal preparation, assistance with activities of daily living, personal care, medical appointments, and medication distribution. You will be part of a team supporting adults with developmental disabilities in a residential program. Requirements
- Be a compassionate person and enjoy making a difference in someone's life
- A qualifying criminal background check and driving record
- Valid driver's license
- Use of your personal vehicle
- TB screening and Physical upon hire
- TB update every two years after hire
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Interest in CNA, PCA and HHA type work
- Students in Human Services, Psychology, and Sociology programs
