About The Position

Direct Care Professionals provide assistance with daily activities and ensure a structured routine that includes individual community outings, meal preparation, assistance with activities of daily living, personal care, medical appointments, and medication distribution. Requirements

• Be a compassionate person and enjoy making a difference in someone's life
• A qualifying criminal background check and driving record
• Valid driver's license
• Use of your personal vehicle
• A TB screening and Physical is required upon hire and a TB update every two years after

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
• Interest in CNA, PCA and HHA type work
• Students in Human Services, Psychology, and Sociology programs

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily activities
• Ensure a structured routine
• Support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential program
• Facilitate individual community outings
• Assist with meal preparation

• Accompany individuals to medical appointments
• Assist with medication distribution
