About The Position
Lifesteps is hiring Full-Time Direct Care Companions in the Worthington area. Lifesteps is a non-profit human services organization which has been serving Western Pennsylvania for over 100 years by “helping individuals and families with life's changing needs”. The Agency provides programs and services to help those with special needs live to their fullest potential. If you have a strong desire to help others and serve the community, this is the right opportunity for you. Direct Care Companions (Caregivers) assist adult individuals who have special needs with their daily living skills and home care, such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, personal care assistance, medication administration, and goal attainment.
Requirements
- 18 yrs. or older
- Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
- Valid driver’s license/auto insurance
- Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required
