About The Position
Center for Human Development (CHD) is hosting a hiring event for Part Time Direct Care and CNA staff to provide quality care and support to individuals with complex mental illness and compounding medical needs. This role is within the Heron House, an 18-bed Enhanced Medical Group Living Environment (EMGLE) program located in East Longmeadow, MA. The position offers part-time hours ranging from 16-24 per week, with various shifts available (1st, 2nd, and 3rd). Weekend availability is required. Candidates with previous experience in the Behavioral Health field are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Must have valid driver’s license and registered vehicle.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with individuals with complex mental illness.
- Previous experience working with individuals with compounding medical needs.
- Previous experience working in the Behavioral Health field.
- One-year experience in a Behavioral Health setting.
- One-year experience working with the elderly, people with disabilities, behavioral challenges and cognitive disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality care and support to individuals with complex mental illness and compounding medical needs.
- Work various shifts including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
- Be available to work weekends.
Benefits
- $20.00/hr. with a $2.00/hr. differential for overnight shifts
