About The Position
Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking Part Time Direct Care and CNA staff to provide quality care and support to individuals with complex mental illness and compounding medical needs. This role is within the Heron House, an 18-bed Enhanced Medical Group Living Environment (EMGLE) program located in East Longmeadow, MA. We are looking for candidates with previous experience in the Behavioral Health field.
Requirements
- Must have valid driver’s license and registered vehicle.
- Weekend availability is a must.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with individuals with complex mental illness.
- Previous experience working with compounding medical needs.
- Previous experience working in the Behavioral Health field.
- One-year experience in a Behavioral Health setting.
- One-year experience working with the elderly, people with disabilities, behavioral challenges and cognitive disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality care and support to those served.
- Work with individuals with complex mental illness.
- Provide support for individuals with compounding medical needs.
Benefits
- $20.00/hr. with a $2.00/hr. differential for overnight shifts
