About The Position

Vintage Home is a privately held, full service global manufacturer headquartered in New York City with 5 divisions. We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Direct B2B Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in NYC. This role is pivotal in driving our retail sales strategy, hunting for new accounts, and rapidly expanding our market presence within the competitive snack industry. As a key contributor, you will play an essential role in opening new accounts, placing our products on major retail shelves, and maximizing brand visibility across key territories.

Requirements

  • Personable, high-energy "people person" with an aggressive, proactive approach to closing deals and overcoming rejection.
  • Proven experience in outside B2B sales specifically targeting regional and national major grocery, convenience, or big-box chains.
  • A verifiable track record of meeting or exceeding strict new-account acquisition and sales revenue targets.
  • Excellent account management abilities.
  • Deep proficiency in CPG/Snack industry sales techniques, distribution logistics, and lead generation.
  • Highly effective negotiation skills focused on achieving win-win outcomes for margin and product placement.
  • Strong familiarity with CRM tools, sales tracking software, and reporting frameworks.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and in-person communication skills, with an emphasis on pitch mastery and client service.

Responsibilities

  • Aggressively develop a new B2B customer base through cold calling, email outreach, retail field visits, and industry networking.
  • Execute effective sales strategies to open new grocery, convenience, and major retail chain accounts to hit volume targets.
  • Build and nurture strong partnerships with category buyers and distributors through consistent follow-ups.
  • Identify high-volume business opportunities and expand regional footprint via proactive, boots-on-the-ground outreach.
  • Conduct compelling product pitches, sampling sessions, and presentations to prospective retail buyers.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to align retail placement with promotional campaigns and in-store merchandising.
  • Leverage CRM software to diligently manage pipelines, track prospecting activities, and forecast sales revenue performance.
  • Secure optimal shelf placement, negotiate vendor contracts, and close retail deals while maintaining strong profit margins.
  • Provide exceptional post-sale support to resolve inventory, shipping, or account issues promptly.
