The Director, Financial System Management is responsible for supporting the management and administration of the Workday financial system. Additionally, the position is responsible for maintaining the key financial controls for the Finance organization, which includes but is not limited to maintaining and improving existing internal control matrices, business process narratives and flowcharts, along with other required documentation. Additionally, key elements of this role include strategic direction and overall management for the Financial Management domain of Workday and related financial systems. This includes knowledge of the foundational data model and business process management, security, integrations, reporting, data quality, and overall system maintenance. This role is also expected to recommend, develop, and implement effective and strategic business solutions through research of Workday updates/release notes and through analysis of organization’s data and business processes. The Director, Financial System Management is a key Finance Division leadership position and is responsible for aiding the Corporate Controller in planning and directing the activities of the Finance Division with respect to financial reporting, maintaining adequate internal controls, and other regulatory requirements and accounting processes with respect to Workday. The Senior Director, Financial System Management provides leadership and support for all aspects of hospital and affiliate accounting and annual financial audit. This position supports administration and management of the hospital and identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
