The Dip Operator is responsible for performing all aspects of running the robotic shell building system and the hand dipping system. This includes accessing the computer system to verify correct equipment operation. The role requires the ability to handle hazardous waste in accordance with safety guidelines, generate and analyze system reports, and maintain efficiency standards. The operator will also be responsible for mixing ceramic slurries, testing them, and maintaining adequate supply levels. Keeping the work area clean, orderly, and safe is a key part of the role, as is accurately recording all work performed and utilizing operational codes. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, which can be substituted by experience. The ideal candidate will be dependable, have a strong attendance record, be comfortable with a team approach to problem-solving, and possess a strong sense of urgency. They must be a motivated self-starter capable of working independently and maintaining a positive work atmosphere.
