The Dip Operator is responsible for the execution of the entirety of the dip process. This includes dip tank and dryer operation, part movement/staging and completion of required paperwork. The essential functions include following written procedures to manufacture quality ceramic cores operating Dip Machines, producing quantities within set standards of each part number, identifying core defects and maintaining accurate records (routers, CQCS, etc). The operator will also test dip tanks to procedure standards, load ceramic cores into racks, load racks into dip tanks/dryers belts, safely operate the belt dryer, and move product throughout the plant per router. Completion of all required documentation accurately, meeting department productivity and yield standards, and adherence to all safety procedures are also key responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned by supervision.
