About The Position
This position will help the Director of Nutrition and the NC State Dining team create a safer environment for students with dietary restrictions. The student in this role will provide candid feedback about their experience as a student with dietary restrictions.
Requirements
- Currently on an NC State Dining meal plan, or is an active user of NC State Dining locations
- Passionate about creating awareness for students with dietary restrictions
- Interest in food and nutrition
Responsibilities
- Provide constructive feedback about NC State Dining's options for special diets, including but not limited to: Gluten-Free options, allergen-free options, vegan/vegetarian options, and more
- Assist with the improvement of Gluten-Free options, safety protocols, and training
- Perform secret shipping, product sampling, and meet with the dining team as needed.
