About The Position

Benchmark Senior Living at Meadow Ridge is seeking a Full-Time Dining Services (F&B) Manager. This role is responsible for managing all service aspects of the community's Independent Living outlets, which include a 5-star restaurant, a café, and an upcoming pub venue. The position requires maintaining high standards of appearance, hospitality, and cleanliness in the dining areas, as well as hiring, supervising, training, and counseling dining room staff with a focus on excellent customer service. This role reports to the Director of Dining Services and is a key part of the Dining Services management team.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience in front-of-house operations within a restaurant, hotel, club, or similar institution.
Ability to communicate with, understand, empathize with, work with, and be tolerant of residents, patients, families, visitors, peers, supervisors, subordinates, and other outside contacts.
Must be able to maintain a courteous, friendly, and helpful attitude with residents at all times.
Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate skills for communicating with individuals of all ages, especially the Senior population.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree or courses in Hotel and Restaurant Management.
Bartending and bar management experience.

Responsibilities
