About The Position

Spring Gardens Pioneer Olympus Ranch in Murray, Utah, is seeking a full-time Dining Services Director, described in the posting as an experienced head chef. Responsibilities

Manage food supplies and personnel so dining operations are efficient, within budget, and compliant with applicable health regulations and company standards.
Manage, schedule, evaluate, and direct kitchen staff.
Ensure the dining room is sanitary and complies with health and safety codes, licensing regulations, and food-handling policies.
Supervise cleaning of dining and food-service areas.
Develop and implement training, policies, and processes covering staff grooming, dress, etiquette, and courteous table service.
Survey residents about their satisfaction with dining service and make corrections as needed.
Assist servers, cooks, and other dining services associates with their duties and take over their activities when needed.
Ensure residents are greeted and seated properly, with particular effort to welcome and integrate new residents.
Supervise tracking of resident meal attendance and notify the designated associate when residents do not come to the dining room, for a safety check.
Support community marketing through positive interactions, dress, and behavior.
