About The Position

Wesley Manor Retirement Community is currently seeking a friendly and dedicated Senior Living Dining Aide to join our team. As a Dining Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our senior residents have a positive dining experience. Your responsibilities will include assisting with meal preparation, serving meals, and providing excellent customer service to our residents.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role preferred
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy trays or equipment as needed
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to serving seniors

Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, setting up food stations, and ensuring food is properly cooked and presented
Serve meals to residents in a courteous and efficient manner
Assist residents with special dietary needs or restrictions, ensuring their meals meet their specific requirements
Clean and sanitize dining areas before and after meals
Set up dining tables and ensure they are properly arranged and stocked with necessary items
Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing any concerns or requests in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with the kitchen staff and other dining aides to ensure smooth and efficient meal service
Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe dining environment
