About The Position

Tabor Hills Senior Living offers an Independent Living Community, Supportive Living Community, and a Healthcare Facility. We have a great opportunity for a Dining Services Aide to join our team on our Supportive Living Campus. Full Time and Part Time shifts are available. 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. STARTING RATE IS $15.25 PER HOUR.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Lifting 75 TO 100 pounds by self with frequent Lifting and/or carrying of objects.
• Exerting considerable force frequently and/or intermediate force constantly to move objects and residents.
• Reaching, handling, talking, hearing, and visual near acuity.
• May travel within campus.
• Works in a safety conscious manner, which ensures that safe work practices are used in order not to pose a risk to others in the workplace.
• Complies with company policies and procedures and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Adheres to policy on Drug Free Workplace.
• Interacts in a tactful diplomatic and humanistic manner with residents, families, visitors, and co-workers to provide a safe, efficient and therapeutically effective caring environment which insures the self-respect, personal dignity, rights and physical safety of each resident and facility guest.
• Maintains a dependable attendance record and adheres to standards of cleanliness, grooming, hygiene and dress code.
• Must be capable to execute all terms and conditions set forth in the EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK.

Responsibilities

• Works on serving line.
• Checks meals for accuracy before they leave the kitchen area.
• Assists Cook, as needed.
• Washes pots, dishes and silverware according to dishwashing, pot washing procedure.
• Puts clean pots/dishes and silverware away.
• Cleaning of equipment and kitchen floor/refrigerators as assigned.
• Takes trash out to dumpster.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
• Delivers/serves food.
• Performs any miscellaneous work assignments as may be required.
