Dining Server
About The Position
This position is responsible for performing table service and ensuring excellent customer relations based on established serving standards and guidelines. The Dining Server will provide service in a friendly, caring, professional, and timely manner, serving resident meals according to meal tickets and assisting residents with all their dining needs. Additionally, the role involves performing light cleaning and stocking duties as assigned by the supervisor to ensure residents have a pleasant and delightful dining experience. This description is not exhaustive and may change as organizational needs evolve.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Students working towards a High School Diploma are eligible for this position)
- Full understanding of food service methods in a high-volume full-service dining environment.
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language and understand and follow written and oral directions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with older adults in a dining setting.
- Florida SafeStaff certification required or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of date of hire.
- Background screening through Florida's Clearinghouse.

- Assist resident with all dining needs while performing table service.
