About The Position

As a Server in the community restaurant, provide friendly, professional, and efficient service during meals and special events to deliver exceptional dining experiences for senior residents. Ensure residents’ dietary needs and preferences are met while fostering a welcoming and inclusive dining environment and building meaningful relationships with residents. The position offers a supportive work environment, flexible schedules, and growth opportunities.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food Handler Card and understanding of kitchen sanitation and food codes.
• At least 6–12 months of experience in serving, hospitality, or customer service.
• Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly and create a positive dining atmosphere.
• Accurately take meal orders and promptly deliver food and beverages.
• Serve meals in accordance with residents’ dietary requirements and preferences, including portion sizes and special requests.
• Help ensure an enjoyable experience for residents by serving food and beverages with a smile.
• Prepare the dining room before each meal service by setting tables with linens, utensils, and glassware.
• Promptly clear tables after meals and maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Reset tables for the next meal service.
• Communicate resident feedback and requests to the Culinary Director or kitchen staff.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of food and beverages.
• Comply with local health department regulations and Cogir senior living standards.
