About The Position

Alto Overland Park is hiring for two Dining Server positions — one full-time AM and one part-time PM — in our vibrant Assisted Living and Memory Care community. The primary responsibility of the Server is to accommodate residents and guests during their dining experience by attending to their needs in a friendly, timely, and professional manner. This role involves serving meals with warmth, care, and professionalism, building genuine connections with residents, maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment, and working as part of a close-knit team. Allegro Living, LLC, the parent company, is building a premier senior living platform defined by inspired lifestyles, compassionate care, and meaningful regional reach.

Requirements

Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
Must pay attention to detail
Must be flexible/adaptable
Must have safety awareness
Must be a team player
Must have positive Criminal Background Screening
Adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy

Nice To Haves

Prior senior living or restaurant experience
Food serving experience

Responsibilities

Serve meals with warmth, care, and professionalism to residents who truly appreciate it
Build genuine connections with residents who look forward to seeing you each shift
Maintain a clean, welcoming dining environment throughout service
Work as part of a close-knit team that takes pride in every meal
Respond to resident needs with patience, kindness, and professionalism
Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner
Approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner
Serve food in an efficient and professional manner
Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol
Maintain a clean dining room. Chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas should be wiped down and sanitized after every meal period
Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed
Label and date all food
Other job duties as assigned
