About The Position

Alto Overland Park is hiring for two Dining Server positions — one full-time AM and one part-time PM — in our vibrant Assisted Living and Memory Care community. This role involves serving meals with warmth, care, and professionalism to residents, building genuine connections, and maintaining a clean dining environment. The primary responsibility is to accommodate residents and guests during their dining experience by attending to their needs in a friendly, timely, and professional manner. This includes greeting and seating residents, serving food, clearing tables, maintaining dining room cleanliness, and delivering trays to apartments as needed. The community is a drug-free workplace.

Requirements

Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
Must pay attention to detail.
Must be flexible/adaptable.
Must have safety awareness.
Must be a team player.
Must have positive Criminal Background Screening.
Must adhere to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

Prior senior living or restaurant experience.
Food serving experience.

Serve meals with warmth, care, and professionalism to residents.

Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol.
Maintain a clean dining room. Chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas should be wiped down and sanitized after every meal period.
Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed.
Label and date all food.
Other job duties as assigned.
