About The Position

Alto Hickory Creek is looking for warm, dependable Dining Servers to join their team. This role offers both full-time and part-time openings with two shift options available to accommodate various schedules. The primary responsibility is to ensure residents and guests have a positive dining experience by attending to their needs in a friendly, timely, and professional manner. The role involves serving meals, clearing tables, maintaining a clean dining room, and delivering trays to residents' apartments. The company emphasizes a supportive team environment where personality makes a difference.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age
Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
Must pay attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
Must have positive Criminal Background Screening.
The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

No experience required. Just a friendly attitude, a reliable spirit, and a heart for serving others.
Food serving experience preferred — but we'll train the right person!
Food serving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and serve residents and guests in a friendly, timely, and professional manner
Serve meals efficiently and clear tables between courses and after meals
Maintain a clean, welcoming dining room throughout every shift
Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents' apartments as needed
Be a warm, consistent presence that residents look forward to seeing every day
Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner as well as approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner.
Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol.
Maintain a clean dining room. Chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas should be wiped down and sanitized after every meal period.
Label and date all food.
