About The Position

Prime Independent Living is seeking a hospitality-focused, service-driven Dining Room Supervisor to help create exceptional dining experiences for residents, families, and guests. Requirements

• Previous experience as a Dining Room Supervisor, Lead Server, Restaurant Supervisor, Hospitality Supervisor, or similar role.
• Strong communication, organization, and team leadership skills.
• A natural ability to connect with people and provide warm, attentive service.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle resident needs professionally.
• Knowledge of food service operations, sanitation standards, and safety requirements.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 35 pounds as needed.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
• Successful completion of required background screening and drug testing.
• Genuine appreciation for serving older adults and creating meaningful dining experiences.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in senior living, hospitality, restaurant, country club, or resort environments preferred.
• Experience with eMenuCHOICE or similar dining software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dining room operations to ensure exceptional service and resident satisfaction.
• Create a welcoming, resident-focused atmosphere that reflects Prime's commitment to hospitality.
• Greet residents and guests, build relationships, and help make every dining experience enjoyable.
• Lead by example through hands-on service, professionalism, and active engagement with residents.
• Ensure dining service is attentive, efficient, and consistent across each meal period.
• Work closely with the Executive Chef / Culinary Director to support and guide dining room team members.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and coaching dining team members.
• Coordinate team schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and smooth service.
• Provide ongoing feedback and support to help team members succeed.
• Foster a positive, collaborative environment rooted in teamwork, accountability, and hospitality.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and learn their preferences to provide personalized service.
• Respond to resident questions, requests, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Monitor the dining experience and identify opportunities to continuously improve service.
• Help ensure residents feel welcomed, valued, and cared for during every dining experience.
• Partner with the culinary team to support resident preferences and special requests whenever possible.
• Oversee dining room setup, cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
• Coordinate closely with the culinary team to ensure timely, accurate, and seamless meal service.
• Manage table assignments and service flow to support an enjoyable dining experience.
• Ensure dining areas are properly prepared before service and maintained throughout each meal period.
• Maintain compliance with applicable health, safety, sanitation, and food service requirements.
• Support holiday meals, themed dining experiences, special events, and community celebrations.
• Collaborate with other departments to help create memorable experiences for residents and guests.
• Assist with community events and special projects as needed.
• Serve as a positive representative of Prime and our commitment to exceptional hospitality.
