About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Full-Time Dining Room Manager for its Boulevard St Peters location in Saint Peters, MO. This role is responsible for ensuring the dining room is immaculate and that residents receive impeccable service. The Dining Room Manager will act as a host, greeting residents, being present in the dining room, mingling, and fostering an environment for resident connection. Preparation for meal service, including table setting and food prep, is also a key responsibility. Additionally, the role involves bussing tables, sweeping floors, and communicating with supervisors and Wellness regarding residents' dietary habits, appetite changes, or absences from meals.

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
• Must have and maintain a food server permit as required by the county.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Must have a positive and energetic attitude.
• Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting people after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.
• Must be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
• Good physical health verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
• Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening.

• Previous experience leading a hospitality team preferred.

• Ensuring the dining room is clean and presentable.

• Preparing tables for service, salads for meals, and rolling silverware.
• Bussing tables and sweeping floors.
• Communicating with supervisors and Wellness about poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
