About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Dining Room Manager to join our team at Vitalia Solon. This full-time position offers a pay range of $19 - $23 per hour and involves ensuring the dining room is immaculate and providing impeccable service to residents. The role focuses on creating a welcoming and engaging environment for residents, preparing for meal services, maintaining cleanliness, and observing resident dietary habits and appetite changes.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Previous experience leading a hospitality team preferred.
Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
Must have and maintain a food server permit as required by the county.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
Must have a positive and energetic attitude.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting people after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.
Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
Good physical health shall be verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening.

Being present in the dining room, mingling, and entertaining.

Preparing tables for service, salads, and rolling silverware.
Bussing tables and sweeping floors.
Communicating with supervisors and Wellness about poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
