About The Position

Deer Valley Resort is seeking Dining Room Attendants for the Winter 2026-27 season. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas of the Day Restaurant, or for delivering Food and Beverage items to guests. The resort emphasizes a diverse and welcoming workforce, offering various perks and benefits. This position is eligible for H-2B visas for in-country candidates only.

Requirements

Demonstrate a skill set relating to the functions of a full-service restaurant
Demonstrate excellent communication and positive interpersonal skills
S.M.A.R.T. Card certification
Utah Food Handlers certification
Frequent walking and/or standing for long periods of time
Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

Keeping an assigned area of the Day Restaurant clean and sanitized
Delivering Food and Beverage items to guests
Clearing dirty dishes from tables
Sanitizing and disinfecting tables and chairs
Attending the beverage station
Emptying bus carts
Knowledge of Food and Beverage items offered
Knowledge of dining room names, table number, and seat numbers
Understanding of sequence of service in the Day Restaurants
The ability to greet, assist, direct, and anticipate guest needs
Complete side work as assigned before and after service
Remain stationed in an assigned area during service hours
Have a working knowledge of beverage station stocking, re-ordering procedures and equipment
Have a thorough knowledge of all Deer Valley services and amenities
Assist other employees when necessary
Other duties as assigned
