About The Position

The primary responsibility of this position is to serve and clear food and beverage items from the guests following the procedures taught during training. This role requires the individual to be adept at all service functions while interacting with guests and maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment. The Dining Room Attendant will also assist servers with tasks such as resetting tables, water and bread service, and cleaning and polishing glassware and silverware.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have an unexpired tips certification.
• Always speaks to guests with enthusiasm.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Experience in a hospitality industry in a similar position.
• Knowledge of the floor plan and table numbers as outlined in training.
• ServSafe and eTips certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve and clear food and beverage items from guests.
• Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner.
• Provide bread and water service to guests.
• Assist the server with pre-bussing of plates.
• Clean and reset dirty tables according to standards.
• Clean and polish water glasses and silverware.
• Assist servers in any capacity to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Ensure the dining room is set up prior to opening.
• Set tables with clean pressed linen, china, silverware, and glassware.
• Ensure dining room furniture and floors are kept clean and arranged.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area.
