Requirements

Previous cooking experience in a restaurant, healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or high-volume food service environment preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, sanitation practices, and kitchen safety standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes, dietary guidelines, and quality standards.
Ensure meals are presented attractively and served at the proper temperatures.
Assist with food preparation, production planning, and inventory management.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment.
Follow food safety and infection control guidelines at all times.
Collaborate with culinary team members to deliver outstanding service and resident satisfaction.
Support special events, holiday meals, and community dining experiences.
