About The Position

We are currently looking for team members that are able to assist us in providing our residents with a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience as a Dining Assistant / Server. Come join our team of dedicated staff who create a fun work environment and are rewarded with a sense of belonging and purpose. We have multiple part time positions available in our food and nutrition department.

Requirements

• Genuine interest in working with seniors
• Patient and tactful when dealing with residents, family members, visitors, and other staff
• Able to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds
• Able to stay on your feet for long periods of time
• Able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, team members and visitors

Nice To Haves

• Enjoy working both independently and as part of a large team

Responsibilities

• Accurately take customer orders, communicate orders to kitchen team members, and serve orders
• Keep the dining room clean, sanitary, and safe by wiping down surfaces such as tables, counters, chairs, menus, and walkers
• Cut fruit, prepare snacks, plate salads and desserts
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors to maintain a safe environment
