About The Position

This role is responsible for the overall management of the diner, including daily operations, staff management, and financial performance. The Manager will ensure profitability, maintain inventory levels, oversee cash handling, and manage staff scheduling and training. A key aspect of the role involves ensuring compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ Management Experience in Food Service Industry
  • Solid Communication Skills, verbal as well as written
  • Solid skills in Excel and Outlook required
  • Food Safety Certificate Required
  • Must have a valid US State Driver's License
  • Able to pass a Criminal Background Check

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Budgets and P&Ls preferred

Responsibilities

  • Daily paperwork and computer entries
  • Diner profitability
  • Inventory levels, inventory shrinkage
  • Oversight of cash shortages
  • Completes and posts the staff work schedules
  • Recruits, rewards, and terminates staff as needed
  • Trains on food preparation techniques and ensures consistency
  • Communicates changes of food preparation formulas, standards, etc. to staff
  • Ensures that all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety and security policy are followed
