About The Position

The Diner Bar Hop helps create a welcoming, upbeat diner experience. The role greets guests, takes orders, prepares classic ice cream desserts such as sundaes, shakes, and malts, supports servers, processes payments, and maintains a clean, organized workstation. The position requires strong customer service, attention to cleanliness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, potentially on a casino floor with noise and second-hand smoke.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to obtain a food handler’s card, gaming authority licensing, and a state-issued alcoholic beverage license.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and in environments with noise and second-hand smoke.
• Strong customer service skills, attention to cleanliness, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, take food and dessert orders, and maintain positive service throughout their visit.
• Prepare ice cream treats, including sundaes, shakes, malts, and other specialty desserts.
• Perform financial transactions accurately and process guest payments.
• Keep menus, tools, and the workstation clean and organized.
• Maintain safe, sanitary working conditions in compliance with food-handling standards.
• Promote a fun, friendly, quick, comfortable, clean, and safe environment.
