About The Position

Pratt & Whitney’s Aftermarket Repair organization in Springdale, Arkansas, is seeking a first-shift Dimensional Inspector. The site provides specialized repair capabilities for gas turbine engine cases and components. This onsite role processes and inspects a variety of engine cases to verify conformance with work specifications. The inspector performs receiving, in-process, and final visual and dimensional inspections, reports discrepancies, and works with engineering specifications, industry standards, repair manuals, and customer requirements. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, such as a GED.
At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Must be a United States citizen due to government contracts.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with engineering specifications, industry standards, repair manuals, and customer requirements.
Experience in aerospace or a related industry.

Responsibilities

Process and inspect engine cases to determine and verify conformance to work specifications.
Perform visual and dimensional inspections during receiving, in-process, and final inspection stages.
Report discrepancies found during inspections.
Work with engineering specifications, industry standards, repair manuals, and customer requirements.
Use scribes, verniers, calipers, height gages, depth gages, micrometers, indicators, and other measuring equipment.
