About The Position

The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in Springdale, AR is looking for a 2nd shift Dimensional Inspector. Days/hours are Monday - Friday; 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm. This site employs 158. Pratt & Whitney PSD provides the aviation industry with capabilities for specialized repair of gas turbine engine cases and components.
This position is responsible for processing and inspecting a variety of engine cases to determine and verify conformance to work specifications using prints, work instructions, layouts, gauges, calipers and other measuring equipment.

Requirements

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) with a minimum of 1-year of relevant experience

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with engineering specifications, industry standards, repair manuals and customer requirements.
• Experience in aerospace or related industry

Responsibilities

• Performing visual and dimensional inspection as part of receiving, in-process and final inspections and reporting any discrepancies found during the inspection process.
• Working with engineering specifications, industry standards, repair manuals, and customer requirements.
• Performing work using scribes, verniers, calipers, height gages, depth gages, micrometers and indicators.
