About The Position

This position is responsible for digitizing current and future furniture patterns for automated cutting machines. The role involves generating Gerber and Z1 Accumark markers, collaborating with the cutting supervisor on production schedules, and creating tracking data for marker packages. The Digitizer will also provide updated models and markers for design revisions and perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• 3+ years cutting / digitizing patterns.
• Strong computer skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be a Team Player.
• Must be reliable.
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
• Must have your own reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work Weekends and Overtime.
• Must have strong communication skills in reading, comprehending, speaking, and writing in English.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 15 lbs.
• Must be able to sit for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
• Some standing and walking is required.
• Must have good vision.
• Must be able to wear required PPE of Safety Glasses and close-toe/close-heal shoes when required.
• Must be able to adhere to all Safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in furniture manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with Accumark software.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Generate Gerber and Z1 Accumark markers for furniture patterns.
• Work closely with the cutting supervisor to manage day-to-day issues associated with the production schedule.
• Generate tracking data to accompany marker packages, such as data markers including marker length and width, material usage, piece counts, and bundle codes where required.
• Provide updated models and or markers when design revisions are made to patterns.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.
